This tour will take approximately one hour and commences from the Heritage Centre in the Tourist Office, in the old Market House, Youghal. This very building was built on reclaimed land on the site of the medieval harbour. You will be introduced to the wonderful and historic story of Youghal, and from here this trail will take you to see important landmarks in that magical story!

A visit to the Heritage Centre in Youghal is an essential first step to viewing the town itself. The Heritage Centre is incorporated into the Tourist Office in the old Market House. It displays of artefacts, images and models illustrate the history of Youghal.
